Diseño y desarrollo de una terapia asistida por robot de muñeca basada en juegos serios

Resumen

Los ambientes virtuales son muy utilizados en diferentes áreas, desde el entretenimiento y videojuegos, hasta el área de la salud y la rehabilitación, en esta última área se busca ayudar al especialista a motivar al paciente a terminar sus rutinas de rehabilitación de forma segura, entretenida y con un ambiente virtual adecuado a su lesión. Dentro de la búsqueda para mejorar las rutinas de rehabilitación el uso de robots rehabilitadores ayuda al paciente a realizar su rutina de rehabilitación de una forma segura y precisa, ayudado también de los juegos serios, los cuales motivan al paciente a terminar su rutina, así como también, son de gran ayuda para el especialista al recibir informes o datos sobre la rutina realizada.


Este trabajo se centra en el diseño y programación de un juego serio enfocado a rehabilitación de muñeca y que, en conjunto con un robot rehabilitador de muñeca ayuda al paciente a tener un mayor compromiso para terminar su rutina y contar con un ambiente seguro y adaptable a su lesión. Un avance importante para el terapeuta es el tener control sobre el juego serio y el robot, al poder cambiar parámetros de fuerza, tiempos de rutina y al final poder acceder a una serie de datos que le permitirán comparar la rutina establecida y la rutina realizada por el paciente para tener un parámetro objetivo de evaluación de la rutina.
